Academic ePlan
Academic ePlan creates three or four year plans for high school students. These plans outline the goals that the student has set and the sequence of courses that they intend to take. After the ePlan is prepared it can be easily updated and printed for the student at any time.

The back of the plan can be printed in order to list important information such as graduation and college entrance requirements.

Getting Started
Data from the school's student information system can be used to quickly import student and course information into Academic ePlan. This information is stored on the school's network for easy and secure access. Imported course titles can be easily assigned to pull down menus that will speed up the process of entering courses into the student's ePlan.

The next step is to create goals and course sequences. Goals can be general like "College", "Military", or "Work". They can also be very specific for a particular college or career field. Course sequences define the typical order in which students might take classes. For example, English 9A is probably followed by English 9B and then English 10A and English 10B. By defining the sequence, when English 9A is entered in the ePlan, the remaining courses in the sequence are automatically entered in the appropriate semesters. Working with Students
When it is time to create the Academic ePlan, it is a simple task to meet with the student, discuss his or her goals and add the appropriate courses to the ePlan. This entire task can be accomplished in as little as three or four minutes with just a few clicks of the mouse.

There is even a place to add a short comment that will be printed on the ePlan.

Follow up
The next time that the counselor meets with the student, it is even easier. The Academic ePlan can be reviewed, modified and printed again on plain paper or the pre-printed form.
